I have a Compact ICS and was wondering if there was any way to set it up to alert-beep if a customer is on hold too long? 20 seconds-30 seconds? whatever?
thanks

Greg

Sure: the feature is called Held Line Reminder.

In programming, turn on the Held Line Reminder feature. Then, choose the delay (in seconds).

System Programming > Feature Settings > Held Reminder
System Programming > Feature Settings > Remind Delay

The Held Line Reminder feature also alerts the prime set when a call has been left on hold for more than 2 or 3 minutes.

Thanks! Is there a setting that determines the time for the reminder to alert the prime set? I tested and left myself on hold and only got the dbl beep alert every 30 seconds? I was hoping after maybe 120 seconds or more that it would maybe constantly beep? Is that possible?
thanks
greg

Held calls will start beep at the station that put it on hold based held line timer. It will diverted to the DRT prime set if unanswered (assuming it is setup).
