Compact and Repair Error causing Temptable?

I attempted to compact and repair a database (Access 2000) and got an error due to insufficent room on my USB flash drive. I then moved it to my harddrive and attempted it again. I now get an error box that states "Table TempMsysAccessObjects already exists" with the choice of OK or Help. If I select Ok, the database opens, but cannot be compacted or repaired.

I cannot locate any table named that name...HELP!!!

I found it after activating hiden and system file viewing. I was able to rename it and then save and exit. Then reopen and compact and repair....I paniced for a few.
