Compact And Repair Database

Hello,

I'm not really sure if this is the right place to post this question. I had posted in another forum and someone directed me here. Every time I Compact And Repair my database, I get the following message

Table 'TempMSysAccessObjects' already exists.

There is an Ok button and a Help button with this message. I click the Ok button, and my database does the compacting and repairing fine.

I'm just not sure what this message means, or how to fix it.

Can anyone help me please.

I had compact and repair issues. I fixed mine by opening a blank access database and importing all the tables,forms,marcos..... into it. I don't know if it will apply to you situation.

At this page Some Microsoft Access MDB Corruption Symptoms there's a reference to this Microsoft KB article PRB: "Table 'TempMSysAccessObjects' Already Exists" Error Message May Occur While Using the Compact and Repair Database Utility. I perceive this as a corruption, and would go for Method 2 (which is much the same as suggested by jadams0173, with a bit more details).
