Compact 3x8 with a call pilot

When ever a caller hangs up during the out going call pilot message, the Compact CIC does not release the POTS lines. Is there anything that I can do, so we do not have a minute or so of dead air to listen to. Thanks in advance

not sure what the default is off the top of my head. reduce the time and see if it helps.

and be sure under line programming that trunk mode is"super" .

I think the default is 600ms. If adjusting this doesn't help, try putting your butt set on a line at the demarc to make sure you hear it coming from the CO.
