Community string - how do you find it

I am trialling Solar winds engineers version network analysis software but it keeps asking for community string. Where can I find what the string is. I've installed the software on a w2k client. I've tried the router and firewall passwords.

If no one has changed them, I am betting the community string is PUBLIC or PRIVATE

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
