I've got a stupid problem and as a newbie I really don't know what to do.
An access DB is stored on our Novell-server. My application is installed on each PC individually. To connect with the DB on the server I use 17 ADODC with Jet4.0. I was told that this would be the best way. But loading the appllication takes to much time. Something like 10 seconds.
And to make it complete: when a second, third, etc user starts the application on his machine it becomes nearly impossible to work. Loading times from 30seconds to 1 minut. And not just loading the application becomes very slow. Evry time the appllication executes a querry, insert or update you nearly have the time to go for a smoke.
