Normally I can find info through a search, but I am stumped this time
I am working on an Avaya CM Server R6.X. The customer is experiencing sound quality issues with integrated music on a TN2501AP Val Board.
When calling from a station to the announcement sound quality is fine.
When calling from a station to the VDN associated with the vector that points to the hold music, sound quality is fine.
When calling in from outside the system to the VDN, the music sounds "over-amplified" yet lower in volume (hope that makes sense). The main trunk group is a PRI. Also have the same problem calling in on a CO line.
We've installed another VAL in a different cabinet and loaded a new .wav file (problem remains)
My immediate thought was this is a Loss Plan issue due to the different sound quality on different call types. I believe the trunk group is a Loss Group 13.
My problem is the announcement / integrated music file. What Loss Group would be associated with the .wav file on the TN2501AP?
