Communication Errors after Modem Connection

I am connecting to a remote KX-TVS200 (external Zoom 56k modem) with a AOpen FM56-SVV V.92 PCI Modem in my PC. I can actually log into the remote system
via the Panasonic DOS management software (uugh), but every time I try to save a change it gives me a communication error. I have tried all sorts of different connection options in the software to no avail. I am stuck.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

you need to dial in to the tvs with vt 100 termnal(Hyperterminal)emulatation program 9600-n-8-1 no flow control
not panasonic dos program!

Augh! I mistyped! cwc3, thanks for the catch. It is a KX-TD1232 that I am dialing into....

Check that the Version of DOS Software matches the version of 1232
