Hello all, I have a switch configure with vlan trunking so I can pass traffic of two vlans(1,8) I configured some ports to vlan 1 and others to vlan 8. It work fine with all the other vlans in the network except for communicating with each other. I can reach all the host in the other vlans but I can ping from vlan 1 to vlan 8. What do I need to do in order to make both vlans in the same switch communicate with each other. Both vlans ar authorized with the "switchport access vlan 1,108" in both ends.

thanks in advance

You can't get between the 2 vlans unless you have a device that is routing these 2 vlans . If you aren't using a layer3 switch then you must have a router to get between 1 and 8 .
