Hi,
Common problems would depend on who your customers are and what they require from your systems, also the number of servers that you look after, their configuration etc.. etc
Common customer problems will be that they require
login setup/amendments/deletions
password changes
printing problems resolved
performance problems resolved
data to be available when they require it
Besides this, a sys admin must look after
security
backups / restores
patching $ software updates
LVM work
Database work
....and I'm sure that I've missed loads of things.
Must common problem resolutions come with experience, others can be gained from sites such as this one.
