Commit_form

I have a main menu form, that calls another form. The main menu form, is only buttons - no data at all. However, the other form has a lot of data that is being updated. When I do a commit_form it commits the transactions and works fine, but when I go back to the maim menu form, it displays a message saying FRM-40405: No changes to apply.

Why is this and what can I do to make it stop?

This is the reaction of unchanged(calling) form on commit_form. You may trap it in on-error message.
