I have installed quite a few of these Single-Digit-Menues (Voice Forms/Voice Response)for Octel Serenade 200/300 and
VMX-100/200/300.
I wonder if someone has comments on the way, the installations are done.... or ...
Logging on and going into update,

# 4. MAX DIGIT FOR MENU is the number of choices for the Single-Digit-Menu. Press 1 for Sales, Press 2 for Service and so on...
# 5. PREFIX DIGS FOR MENU is the pre-digits for the actual choice. Having pressed "1" for Sales the pre digits ( here: 8866) is set before the "1" and a transfer is made to extension 88661. Pressing "2" goes to ext. 88662...
# 18. . NEXT MAILBOX if no choices are made (e.g.rotary telephone) the call will go to 1000.

Now we normally will NOT do number conversion in the PBX.
Because someone could erase some "diversion/forwarding data". Therefore this is done in the voice mail system.
