Comments in Style Sheets 1

I have a style sheet that I distribute to users with an application. I want to encourage users to modify their own style sheets if they wish to customise the look and feel of the application without going near my ASP pages. Is it possible to include comment lines in a CSS and if so what is the syntax I need so that I can explain in there what changes users can make. Thanks

Comments in CSS are C-like:

/* comment here */

Some browsers support line comments (//) but this isn't by standard.
