We frequently modify the base sales order and PO reports but the comments stopped printing out on some of the modified reports (not all). Never made a change to the comments area and can't figure out what is going on. This happened in 3.71 and continues in 4.05. Any help appreciated.

Is this a crystal report? If so try verifying the database and let me know what happens.

Yes, these are Crystal Reports. I have verified the database on all reports where this occurs - no difference. Very frustrating.

Hi. Are the comments on Sales Order or PO lines? Or are they header comments?

I had a situation where after adding UDF's, the UDF's didn't exist for certain records and this caused my problem. I changed to a left join and it solved it.

You can only have one left outer join, if you do it can cause the problems that you describe.

Typically, one will lose comments (and other non-inventory types of lines) because they have linked an inventory related table to the report. Thus precluding all non-inventory type lines. The proper way to handle this situation would be to use a sub report and not a outer join.
