With VFP9 I find that the command window displays in a pretty big font and the window is always "On Top". Can I change either of these settings?

You can change the font/font size by right clicking with the cursor in the command window, select Properties and then set the font and size that you want.

Hello Andrew,

If you just want to change the font size, the fastest way is to left click into the window & use keystrokes Alt+O then R to reduce or E to enlarge.

You can even change the command window font programmatically with the help of some functions from Foxtools.fll

Thanks markros

Do you have information about Foxtools? Can it be called from a standard VFP9 program? What functions are available? If you have some code which I could include in a VFP application that would be most useful.

Thanks. Andrew

Andrew,

for foxtools.fll the fastest way to explore is to open the foxtools.chm = helpfile you will find it most probably in a subdirectory under home(). Happy hunting.

Good luck,
