I am using a SQL statement for my record selection and am including a pie chart graph in my report header.

The key in the graph displays the following:

Sum of command.Carpool 25%
Sum of command.Bicycle 30%
Sum of command.Walk 25%
Sum of command.Vanpool 10%
Sum of command.Transit 10%

How can I get rid of the "Sum of command" display in the key. I have looked at the chart expert and don't see anything there that wil fix it.

You should always specify your CR version. In XI, you can select each legend label->right click->edit axis label and manually change each label. As far as I know, there is no way to do this dynamically, although you could check out third-party products like the charting add-on at

I am using VS 2005 with the CR component.

I did not see an option to change the labels. If I select the chart it is one selection, I can't select individual items.

janerussel,
Right click on chart and pick Chart Options
On the Data Labels tab, under Label format: make sure that you use Values not Label and Values.
You can also rename your titles.

Thank you I was able to make the label changes, but the items I listed above are in the key. Can you change the labels in the key. I don't see this options.

janerussel,
I was hoping that your key was picking up your label names.
I tried to recreate what you are seeing but couldn't get sum of to show at all in the key.
I'll keep trying.

Thank you for your help. Do you think it is because this is a version that is used with VB.net. Maybe it doesn't have all the functionality that the client version has.

janerussel,
I would have to play with the file with my ver.10 to see if it's the app of not.
Save with data sample and send...
