Command to reset G450 mgp after upgrading Software

Just a simple question,

what is the command to reset G450 mgp after SW upgrade in BAnk A or B?

I know for G700 it is reset MGP, i dont see this in G450.

I see Reset chassis, is that reset MGP as well? Do i need to

copy running startup before reset?

it's always a good idea to do a "copy running-conifg startup-config", and yes, "reset chassis" is the only way to activate the new firmware. you make also have to "set boot bank bank-X" as well.

P.S. Reseting the chassis also reboots the S8300 if you have one in slot V1

Thanks Mitch,

We have MM710 in slot v1. We have s8500 not s8300 and this
site register to Main site(s8720).

so I assume reset of chassis should not reset s8500 as it is ESS.

Am i correct?

yes of course, since its not in a slot in the G450, like an S8300 would be.
