Hi guys,

I would like to know how many CPU in my server and the speed, etc.

My server is Linux Redhat. Also my OS version ...

Is there any command to find those out ??

Thanks guys,

Hi stefanwagner,

There's no such file in /proc directory

Thx

Or, check www.ecora.com [noevil]

SuSE:
cat /proc/cpuinfo

Red Hat:
cat /proc/cpu

or top or sar will also give you cpu output for both.

cat /etc/*release

this will work for SuSE for sure. /etc/*release will also tell you the distro for both, and for SuSE will show the version and release, but not sure about the V/R for Red Hat in /etc/*release.

Thx guys,
