Is there a way to have all the command results displayed to the background screen?? For example, COUNT FOR results get displayed at the left bottom corner, is it possible to have them all displayed in the background??

You can issue a

SET STATUS BAR OFF
then
ACTIVATE SCREEN
SET TALK ON

to display to the screen. Setting them back will save a lot of clutter though.

If SET TALK is ON, then some command results will be displayed in the current window - in the development environment this is usually the desktop (or _Screen). I'm not sure what you mean by "background screen", but you can select any form to be the "current" window programatically.

You can also use the value of _TALLY from many commands, and use it to update info on a form or even on the desktop with @ ... SAY. (This a bit retro though!)
