Is there the Mac (OS 9.1) equivalent to a DOS command prompt (e.g., C:\>) or a Unix/Linux terminal window? If so, how do I get to it?

Thanks in advance.

Tom

you can use applescript to do the equivilent to .BAT files in DOS or scripts in unix. I am unaware of any command line in any MacOS before OSX I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
