Each time I call up Command Prompt, I go through the long rigmarole till eventually I arrive at the MySql database. Is there a way to make shortcuts for Command Prompt so I could click on the shortcut and arrive straight at the database, please Experts?

I've been using the recommendations from that site. But I see there's a much simpler way.

I have the command prompt icon down on the task bar. Just right click on it for properties, and set the shortcut in the shortcut tab/start in to wherever your dbs are - for me
C:\apachefriends\xampp\mysql\bin

It certainly saves a lot of time.
