I have been using nt 4 workstation and server for about 5 months now. I like it a lot better then 98. But I am having a problem with the command prompt in nt, it doesn't seem to behavethe same way as in 98. In 98 if I call up the command prompt it starts at root and I have to type my way to where ever I want to go. I discovered a shortcut that I have not been able to replicate in NT. The shortcut is to have explorer open to the directory that you want the command prompt to start in, then you simply open the command prompt. This does not work in NT. I am wondering if there is some setting that I am overlooking or something along that route.

fenris
