Where in the registry can i find the command line for some of the executables.
For Eg:
When i double click on a *.eml file on my desktop, windows by default opens the Outlook Express Mail Window.
Where does it get the command from and what options does it take to open either the Outlook express(when outlook is clicked) or just the Mail Window(when a .eml file is clicked).
Thanks,
Preetham.

If you look through 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT' you will find heaps of classes, windows looks here to see which files or programs are associated which what. In the same way, if you create a programs which you want to own a file type, it is here that you create the key.
