Hi,

I need to set up an automated job to load some text files into Access. Access side of this is fine, but the content of one of the text files is not recognised by Access when I try to load it directly from its network location (I have tried all combinations of the import specification options). The only way it will recognise the data is if I first open the file in wordpad on my pc and then save it. After that the file is fine. Want to do this overnight so trying to set up a task in Windows Scheduler - I'm able to open the file but cannot find out if it is possible to save using a command line switch. Does anybody know if this is possible?

Thanks,

Anne
