Does anyone use the snmp feature that updates the CS1000 Gui interface if someone makes a change using command line?
If so can you share the procedure or where the installation document lives and if you are using how do you like it?
Basically if you have techs who don't use the GUI and a help desk that only uses the CS1000 GUI because they don't know how to use Cmd line, they have an SNMP feature the recognizes command line changes and use SNMP to update the CS1000 GUI data base so they stay in sync..
Any help is always appreciated and as always sarcasm welcomed!

You have to set the IP address for the Element Manager server as a SNMP destination.
LD 117
prt mgmt_alarm (to see what destinations are already set)
set mgmt_alarm 0 192.168.0.2 (example that sets entry 0 for that IP address)
You can have up to 7 or 8 entries. One of them needs to be your Element Manager ELAN address.

You may have to do
==> sync snmpconf

Pretty sure that's about it. But it's still a good idea to run the resync from Element Manager Phones periodically. Sometimes the traps get missed.
