Just wanted to double check. To find out what type of server i.e. S8300 is in a G450 the command line in ASA is "display media-gateway #" And if you don't see a server in the disp media that means there is no LSP correct?

Correct, and an 8300 would only be in slot 1. You can also use "list surv" to see all of the survivable processors associated with your main CM.

I'm curious to why the server type doesn't show up using the "list configuration media-gateway #" command.

It does for me, it's under the "Code" header which is third from the left. Board type is ICC MM.

media-gateway type?
cm hardware platform and software version?

G450
CM 6.3 not sure of the platform. It says G3.

from s8300 LSP linux bash command line:
grep ServerType /etc/opt/ecs/ecs.conf

from g450 command line:
show mg list
show mm

from CM Main SAT Command: prompt
list configuration board 2v1 (mg2 slot v1)
