Is there a way to add a drill down button to each row of a report, allowing you to extract the id of the row and opening a VB UI. Therefore, opening the record that has the same id as the one drilled upon in the crystal report.

Thank you

use an on demand subreport linked to the field on which you want to drill down

Meaning when a user double clicks on a "link" a subreport is opened with drill down info. I will go with that, thank you. So is there no other way of calling a VBA macro?

One of the 3rd-party Crystal Reports viewers listed at allows you to call any other application and pass parameters to it by double-clicking an area on the report that contains a formula providing the exe to call and the parameter values.

hth,
- Ido

view, export, burst, email, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Thank you Ido will give it a shot
