Comm port

I'm having problems with a software developed in VB3 running under WinXP (Home & Pro, both): there's a comm control used to read and send buffer data through a com port, but the sending often fails (i.e. no data seem to be received on the other side), while it doesn't on other Win versions.
Any idea?

I had a similar problem. I believe the comm control is buffering. Have you tried a "Do Event" after the ".send"
It worked for me. Good luck
