Hi,

I replaced my old keyboard with an MS Curve 2000keyboard and used MS Keyboard to reassign commands to the keyboard. I discovered that the key seetings feature was not working. Depressing the "Mail" does not result in any visible response that is shown on the keyboard or to put it another way "Nothing happens." Pressing the "Back" key to return to the previous web page does not return me to the previous web page, I remain ar the current page. What's coulld be wrong and how can I fix the problem so that I can program the Back, Forward, Web/Home, Search, Mail and othe keys as well as reassign commnds to selected function keys?

Thanks,

Ed

First, thank you for replying to my post.

The ITP32Eng.exe driver is Microsoft's most recent keyboard driver and I installed yesterday when I replaced my keyboard.

This is a real conundrum even default values for this keyboard do not work. It is as if I need to turn a switch to enable their use or recognition.

Again, thank you for your response,

Ed

This thread mentions Control Panel and Keyboards, and also other keyboard related stories, if you are still having problems, it might be worth a read?
