Comet Extreme 9 EXB Battery Enclosure 1

Hi there.
I have an MGE Comet Extreme 9 with several Battery Extension units attached to it. These are labelled up as Comet Extreme EXB. Recently we had an issue with the overheating of one of these battery units and found that the batteries inside had become distorted, possibly through age.
Like an idiot I had the battery unit discarded and ordered a new battery module only to find that they are no longer sold and only the batteries can be replaced.
Anybody know of a good place to look for a second hand unit that I could buy? Would reuse the battery enclosure and replace the batteries.
