Comdial Programming

I just picked up a new customer and they have a really old Comdial switch.the system has a number of cards that are the slide in type. My question is how do I find out the version model type and is the programming done thru a phone or a PC . Any info will help they will be replacing that system for something new I just need to check some programming issues

Sounds like a DXP, DXP Plus if it has a second cabinet above the main. Search the web for the admin software and docs. You are looking for VMMI.

A prudent person would probably save the existing config to his laptop before making any changes. You are lacking the 50+ hours of instructor-led training which normally precedes playing with a DXP....
