I am being billed for international calls late evenings. Is there a way on a Comdial Impression to require a special access code for an international dial number?
Just a thought,it is more then likely your cleaning crew that is doing it. Do you know how to program? there are 4 programs to get it set up so that all the stations have to force a code before the call can be made.
You can restrict certain digits that are the leading digits dialed when attempting to dial an international call. As far as I know, the USA is the only country that we need to dial 1 for calls here. All other countries, I believe, have a 2 digit number as their leading digits. You can set up a table to deny calls to any numbers you list and assign them to the lines & stations. Although, telprog has a very good idea too!! I would probably hook a printer to the SMDR port and pull reports to find out what line(s) is/are being used as well as the number being dialed, and from what extensions. I would then have a talk with the culprit!!!
