Comdial FXII programming from telephone set

Found a customer site with Comdial FXII system and Impact phones. Would like to unrestrict a couple phones but cant find info on programming from main station.
Install/Program Document says certain things (including restrcition) may be modified from programming via the Main Station but im missing instructions on how.

Anybody have document or memory on how to do this?

If the answer is correct, it looks like you might not be able to do that type of programming from a phone, but will need the "VMMI" application. Assuming that you can get a copy, it might only run on old versions of Windows though.
