Comdial DX-80 automated attendant voice mail not working

I am working on a Comdial DX-80 that has a day and night autoattendant message. Each one gives an this option "to leave a message for Dept A press 2" If 2 is selected it will announce the correct person it is transferring it to and that extension will ring. But the extension will ring 6 times and then go back to the main greeting. This will happen if the caller chooses to enter the extension manually too, I.E. during the day or night greeting the caller chooses to enter the person's extension, such as, 107 or 106 it will ring that phone but after 6 rings it will go back to the main greeting and will not transfer to voice mail. If I call extension 107 or 106 internally, after the 6 rings it will go to voice mail . Anyone have any insight on how this might be corrected in a Comdial system? I have spend years working with Avaya systems, but this is my first exposure to a Comdial.
