Went to a customers site last week to swap their dialtone from One Communications to Comcast. Caller ID worked for a week and now does not. If I connect a SL phone that displays Caller ID it works fine ahead of the Partner system. When I connect my Buttset to a Comcast Line I hear the data burst (spill) which should be my Caller ID info, but it never shows on the Partner phones.
Customer called Comcast and they dispatched a tech, but the tech showed the customer that they are sending Caller ID and informed them that there must be a problem with their phone system.
Has anyone ran into similar trouble and if so were you able to resolve it, and if so how. The Partner system is an R7 91K
