combobox events

A followup question to my previous one (still unresolved) on the worksheet combobox: the application I'm writing that triggered the question is on my home PC. I'm writing this from work. Both run Win2000, Office2000. For some reason, at home I have access to the .enter and .exit events for the combobox, while at work I have the .gotfocus and .lostfocus events. I don't understand ActiveX controls well enough to understand why this may be happening. Can anybody set me straight?
