I have a combobox populated with an array declared as variant.

A part of the array looks like:

Code:
156727 C.	v.	Staveren
158552 B. Stevense
194042 P. Strijbos
169968 E. Strucks
40406 C. Swens
F195909 A. Ticheloven
The combobox is set to show the first column
Typing F the auto-complete works fine and the F195909 is pre-selected
But when I type 1 or 15 nothing is pre-selected probably because the numbers are not identified as strings ??

How to solve this problem ?

Hi,

Should not mix text and numbers in a column of related data!

I think you are not going to be doing math with the data in this column.
