Combo Field on Form Won't Allow AutoEntry

I have a lookup field on a form that points to a table with two fields, Week# & WeekDate, and shows both Week# & Weekdate in the lookup box, and stores the Week#. But you have to scroll down the lookup box and click on the week# you want, it won't allow me to key the week # and then hit Enter - it says "...not in the list..." even though it is. The form field was created by adding a combo field from the toolbox, and using the lookup wizard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have a corrupt combo-box. Have you tried recreating it yet?

Hi!

Maybe you could post what the properties sheet says is the row source of the combo box. It might give us a clue as to what the problem is.

Sorry it took so long to respond, I haven't been able to log in. It's very basic:

Select [weeks],[date] From [tablename]

By the way, those are the only two fields in the table, I don't know if that makes a diffence or not. Thank you.
