In a previous thread I described a problem with my combo boxes' fore and back colors both changing to black as the user is entering data and/or entering/exiting from these fields. It was suggested I run the Service Pack 1 and 2 updates to fix this. This may not be possible for me in my networked environment.

If I put all my fields in the form's header and not even use the form's detail section, this will fix the problem. Is there anything inherently wrong or disastrous about doing this?

Any comment(s) would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

I believe if you just remove anything from the Format property of the control, the problem goes away as well.
