Hi all, I wud like to know whether there is any possibility to create a combo box in Tk that is very similar to that of windows. I cudn't able to find any details of this kinda widget in the books and manuals.

The BWidgets package has a combobox.
use: package require BWidget
ComboBox .xyz ----
