How do you make a combo box that you can type into or choose from the drop down?

Look into CSS drop-down menus... if you have a link right next to a standard text box (this would be the thing with the down arrow you click on in a drop-down menu), clicking on that would make your drop-down appear directly below the text box. Then, whenever something is clicked on in the drop-down, it's corresponding value is sent to the text box.

I think that's as close as you can come with dHTML... I'd give you code, but I haven't looked into CSS drop-down menus. Best of luck.
Liam Morley
lmorley@wpi.edu
<a href=] :: imotic :: website :: [
"light the deep, and bring silence to the world.
