Okay my last question on the forum for a while

When using the combo box wizard you should, (I believe)
be presented with 3 menu items/choices when the "Combo Box Wizard" is initially opened.

When I drop a combo box via the wizard onto my form I only get 2 menu items/choices.

I read somewhere that this can happen if the form is Unbound, but mine references a table in recordsource
(eg SELECT [Master Inventory].ID, [Master Inventory].[Part No], [Master Inventory].Description, etc)

Am I missing the big Access 2007 point here?

Can someone enlighten me

Many Thanks

Dave

Again, I don't have Access 2007, but do you have a SQL statement as a recordsource or a query name? If you have a SQL statement, see:

Combo Box Wizard Does Not Display Third Option If a Form Is Based on a SQL Statement

mmmm...

the recordsource was built using the query builder so I guess that means query name??

That places the SQL in the recordsource, not a query name. Query name means you use the query interface under Query Objects, saved it and named it.

Okay thanks for the help. I'll read and digest the microsoft link

Thanks again

Dave
