Ok. so I created a form named Form1
in the form I created a combo box named Combo0

So I open the query and in the criteria section I typed

Forms!Form1!Combo0

So, I'm all happy and singing and jumping all over the office (you know all happy and all). I try to open the query and ..... I get the little blue box that asks to ENTER PARAMETER VALUE. I could not believe my eyes....

What am I doing wrong lord.........

I tried with square brackets... and still same result.. same old result...

could you explain to me really slowly what is the logic behind the scenes...?

Thanks ...
Dumboy.! Ouch.! .my brain.....
spiderdesign@yahoo.com

It's hard to think with only one neuron......Ouch.....!....it hurts when I think......!

Beg your pardon, my english is very poor.
create one button in form1 and assign the query in the onclik event

Well is your form called "Form1"
i.e. Forms!Form1!Combo0
Change Form1 to your form name
And save the form before you can reference a new item on it.

And after you save the query (under that same name that you refer to it by - Andreu :) please pardon the dangling participle) be sure the form is open when you refer to it.

Andreu... Merci mon ami.... It worked

DougP.... thanks

Elizabeth.... marry me...!

Dumboy.! Ouch.! .my brain.....
spiderdesign@yahoo.com

It's hard to think with only one neuron......Ouch.....!....it hurts when I think......!
