combo box problems

I have a BIG problem. I have a combobox which valued are stored on a query. The query works perfectly. This combobox is on a subform. While I have no problem to chose a value from the combobox on the subform, I am having problems when want to fill this combobox in the subform when this subform is on a form. When I click on the combo box within the form, I receive the message that I am trying to give a Null value to a variable which is not a variant...please help...

My guess is that you probably have to create and save the record on the main form. Without seeing how your tables are linked and the query behind the combo box, that is my best guess. Feel free to send the database and I can look at it. dawn@calliopeconsulting.net

Chances are that you are referencing a field in the combobox query that refers to a field on the subform. If so, the reference will change when you put in on a Form.

If you show your combobox query a suggestion may be possible.
