I have 2 tables one with user data and the other with the name ad address of the office they work at.

I would like to do two things with this.

1. Use the link I have to display the user details and their location.

2. put the name of their location into a dropdown box on the input asp front end.

Any help at all would be appriciated

1. This is too vague of a question. We don't know if this is on a form or report. We also don't know the structure of your tables etc.
2. ASP questions should be posted to an ASP forum.

sorry for the vauge question, not feeling 100% atm,

The first part is in access, I have 2 tables. 1 has user information in it with a combo box for their location which is in the second table.

I would like the rest of the row for that location pulled into table 1.

not sure if that makes it any clearer.

What you are asking for isn't generally good practice (if I understand you correctly). Normally, you would store only the primary key value from the location table in the user information table.

Storing additional information from the location table in the information table would be redundant and against relational database practice.

Do I understand you correctly? Do you have a good reason to store the information in more than one table?
