Combo box doesn't save values to the Table

I followed the instruction FAQ 702-4289. It's about "Combo Box dependant on another combo box."

However, it doesn't save the value to the table from the form. It saves the number instead of the real value to table.

I have two tables and a form with two combo boxes and combo boxes are working fine from the form.

Does anyone can help me about this ?

Check under Data in Properties for your combo box. Make sure to have to bound column pointed at the right column. You probably want it set to 2.

I already set them to 2.

cboOutputType
ColumnCount: 2
ColumnWidths: 0";1"
BoundColumn: 2

cboOutputVolt
ColumnCount: 3
ColumnWidths: 0";1";0"
BoundColumn: 2

cboOutputType saves the value to table without problem.

Problem: If I set the BoundColumn of cboOutputVolt to 2, the list doesn't show up. If I set to 1, it brings the list but save the number to table.

Sorry about the lag, I'm just getting back on. I've found that problems like these usually have simple answers. Have you handled errors to keep them from being displayed? If it displays the primary key and not your data the format may be conflicting.
