Combo box - data is on list but is invisible

The combo box has been working correctly for about 2 years. Now the scroll bar works and you can select an item but cannot see the list of items. When you select an item, it appears in the Combo box. The Combo box is based on a table. I created a new combo box based on a query from the table with the same results.

Any ideas.

Have you installed the service pack 3 recently for Access? There is a similar problem after installing service pack 3 that supposed to get resolved by a further hotfix? Regards
