Hello!

I would like to have a field that stores the input from three other fields e.g. field1=Kevin, field2=01, field3=000 to make (new field) Kev-01-000. I can do this in a form, but can't get Access to store the answer in the table.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Kevin.

Create an update query and use the expression builder to concatenate the fields together. It will look something like this:

=tab.field1 & "-" & tab.field2 & "-" & tab.field3
