I am trying to combine several records into one, I have one identification number coming up 1-12 different times, with a unique location subset. (i.e.- ID # 35674, at WC#250,270,290,440)

I also have several yes/no checkboxes with each record that have to be combined.
How do I combine all the records into one line and have any

I don't think you are going to do this cleanly w/ SQL; it looks like a situation where a procedural language is a better answer. Which RDBMS are you using?

We need to know the RDBMS you are using an how your data is currently stored.
Ged Jones
gedejones@hotmail.com

Hi, all -

Really hate to intrude, Luggy, but I was just getting ready to post the exact same question and thought I'd jump in on this instead of starting a new, redundant thread.

I am using Access97 and have a table with multiple instances of an entry. I need to concatenate those records based on the value in a text field and create new fields for the concatenated record that allow for the disimilar information in the concatenated records.

Geez, sorry, that's a bear of an explanation.

Title House#
Program Title 1
Program Title 2
Program Title 3

Three records with the same Program Title, I want to concatenate on the words "Program Title" and end up with one record that has three new fields with values 1, 2, 3:

Title House1 House2 House3
Program Title 1 2 3

Help!
