I alluded to this question in a reply to a similar question by another fellow a couple of days ago. Got no answer there yet.
I have one static ip, two vhost domains of http, and I need a couple of secure pages - one each for the two domains (perhaps one will do if need be). I currently have two machines tied up to do what seems one server or computer could easily do.
Is it possible to combine these functions on one machine? Like starting two Apaches - one listening on 80 only and the other listening on 443 only. I don't think it's feasible to get another ip address. Don't know what I'd do with it if I had one.
The previous fellows question was answered: "virtual hosting won't work for http/https. Is my suggestion not workable?
Thanks, Brian
